September Meeting........
Another lovely chatty time was had by all at the September meeting of the Southern Belles.
Everyone spent a fun time sewing up the head for the roly poly doll, this and next months project..
Margaret brought in her little doll that is need of a bit of TLC and fixing...we can do that!

Shiela brought in the her little Lord Fauntleroy, for us to look at, a bit of research is needed for this lovely doll
Margaret brought in her little doll that is need of a bit of TLC and fixing...we can do that!
Linda showed us the souvenir doll. a fabulous well designed cloth doll, she brought back from her recent trip to Kansas City as president of ODAC
Hilary has shamed us all by completing her little papier mache doll, the project lead by Carole
Jean brought in her winning dolls from this years convention in Bristol
Margaret and Sheila have also finished their decoupage boxes in the project lead by Adrienne

GDS Convention 2015
There are a lot of very tired members who have had a fabulous weekend at the GDS Convention in Bristol. Prizes were won and workshops attended not to mention the dancing the night away!

April Meeting.....
Another lovely gathering of the Southern Belles.........As usual a lot of chatter from beginning to end. Everyone brought their sewing machines and Pat guided everyone in working on machine embroidery, a very useful technique to master.
Pat brought a number of interesting samples to share with us and to give some inspiration
Carol brought with her her works in progress to show us the papier mache doll we will be working on for our next workshop, lots of excitement as Carol has offered two sizes and again a whole new technique to learn.
